لَم يكن لي مِن المُدامِ نَصيبُ

لَم يكن لي مِن المُدامِ نَصيبُ

بَيدَ أنِّي وَحَقِكُم سَكرَانُ

بَيدَ أنِّي وَحَقِكُم سَكرَانُ

I had no share of wine,

I had no share of wine

Yet, by your honor, I am drunk.

Yet, by your life, I'm drunk

لَذَّتِي غَايتِي مُناىَ اجتمَاعٌ

لَذَّتِي غَايتِي مُناىَ اجتمَاعٌ

بِمكَانٍ يؤُمُّه الإِخوَانُ

بِمكَانٍ يؤُمُّه الإِخوَانُ

My delight, my goal, my wish is a gathering

My pleasure, my goal is a gathering

At a place frequented by the brethren.

In a place filled with brethren

وعَزيزِي مُحَمَّدٌ عَن يَمِينِي

وعَزيزِي مُحَمَّدٌ عَن يَمِينِي

لَهُ مِنِّي حُبٌّ ومنهُ حنَانُ

لَهُ مِنِّي حُبٌّ ومنهُ حنَانُ

And my dear Muhammad is at my right;

My dear Mohammad is on my right

He has my love, and from him comes tenderness.

I have love for him and he has affection

وَأَمَامِي الشيخُ الإِمامُ تصدَّى

وَأَمَامِي الشيخُ الإِمامُ تصدَّى

لِنكَاتٍ يَفيضُ منها بيَانُ

لِنكَاتٍ يَفيضُ منها بيَانُ

And before me, the sheikh, the imam, has turned his attention

Before me is the Sheikh, the Imam, who takes
