Extremities with twitching heel
قالواthey said جَمِيعاall إنَّindeed ذاthis one
قالوا جَمِيعا إنَّ ذا
They all said: indeed, this one—

أتاهُcame to him عزرَائيلُAzrael مِنfrom
أتاهُ عزرَائيلُ مِن
أسفَلِهhis underside فليَنتَحِبso let him wail
أسفَلِه فليَنتَحِب
Azrael came to him from
From below should lament
His underside; so let him wail.
If he hides from others
إنif يحتَجِبhides himself مِنfrom غَيرِناthose other than us
إن يحتَجِب مِن غَيرِنا
فليسَthen he is not عناfrom us يَحتَجِبhiding himself
فليسَ عنا يَحتَجِب
If he hides from those other than us,
He cannot hide from us
