A full moon defiantly alights in every mansion

where he dwells, whenever he ties his robe’s cord.

His mole has suffused him with beauty and made him

a marvel; so I told my heart, “Seek him,” but it refused.

And it said, “By God, I love none but him, nor

will I ever be a cause of love’s torments.

And what use to me is a full moon never forsaken

by ill fortune? A full moon conjoined with the Tail is enough for you.”
