صَلَّىmay bless الْإِلَهُGod عَلَىupon جِسْمٍa body تَضَمَّنَهُenclosed it
صَلَّى الْإِلَهُ عَلَى جِسْمٍ تَضَمَّنَهُ
قَبْرٌa grave فَأَصْبَحَand so became فِيهِin it الْعَدْلُjustice مَدْفُوناburied
قَبْرٌ فَأَصْبَحَ فِيهِ الْعَدْلُ مَدْفُونا
May God bless a body enclosed
by a grave, where justice came to lie buried.
قَدْhad حالَفَallied himself with الْحَقَّtruth لاnot يَبْغِيhe seeks بِهِfor it ثَمَناًa price
قَدْ حالَفَ الْحَقَّ لا يَبْغِي بِهِ ثَمَناً
فَصارَand so he became بِالْحَقِّwith truth وَالْإِيمانِand faith مَقْرُوناjoined
فَصارَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْإِيمانِ مَقْرُونا
He had allied himself with truth, seeking no payment for it;
and so became joined to truth and faith.
