هو المدخلُ النعمانَ في أرضِ فارسٍ

وجاعِلهُ ، في قَولِهم ، في المَدائنِ

وجاعِلهُ ، في قَولِهم ، في المَدائنِ

He is the one who brought al-Nuʿman into the land of Persia,

He is the one who entered the land of Persia

and who, so they say, placed him in al-Madaʾin.

And made it, as they say, full of cities

وأَلقاهُ أيضا ، بَعدَ ذا ، تَحتَ أَفُيلٍ

وأَلقاهُ أيضا ، بَعدَ ذا ، تَحتَ أَفُيلٍ

وفي العَرَبِ العَربا بَقايا ضَغائنِ
