كَما بَيَّنَت آثارُ غَيبٍ مَسائِلُهِ

كَما بَيَّنَت آثارُ غَيبٍ مَسائِلُهِ

Nuʿmān’s marks upon us are clear,

For Numan's traces on us are clear

Nu'man has left evident traces upon us,

as traces of the unseen have made its questions clear.

As traces of the absent made plain his questions

Just as his inquiries have laid bare the signs of the unseen.
