وَلِما وَلِيتَ ذَكَرتُ النَبِ

وَلِما وَلِيتَ ذَكَرتُ النَبِ

يَّ بِتَحليلِهِ وَبِتَحريمِهِ

يَّ بِتَحليلِهِ وَبِتَحريمِهِ

And when you took office, I recalled the Prophet,

When you turned away, I remembered the Prophet

And when you took authority, I remembered the Prophet,

In what he declared lawful and what he forbade.

With his explanations and prohibitions

In his ordaining of the lawful and the forbidden.
