سَمير العُلا فاضَت عَلى كُل مجتدي

سَمير العُلا فاضَت عَلى كُل مجتدي

The clouds of benevolence of the fortunate Muhammad,

The clouds of Ihsan's kindness, Sameer Al Ola, have overflowed upon every seeker.

glory’s companion by night, have poured upon every seeker of bounty.

And the abundant rain of his generous hands has never ceased,

وَغَيث أَياديه الجَزيلة لَم يَزَل

وَغَيث أَياديه الجَزيلة لَم يَزَل

يَعم جَميع الناس في أَي مَورد

يَعم جَميع الناس في أَي مَورد

And the life-giving rain of his lavish favors has never ceased

Covering all people wherever they may be.

to reach all people at every watering place.

His days shine like a full moon in the sky of time,

فَأَيامه في جبهة الدَهر غُرة

فَأَيامه في جبهة الدَهر غُرة

وَأَحكامه بِالعَدل تَزهو كفرقد

وَأَحكامه بِالعَدل تَزهو كفرقد

So his days are a white blaze upon time’s forehead,

And his just judgments gleam like the morning star.

and his judgments shine with justice like Farqad.

Without a doubt, God has blessed Egypt with him after her beloved Muhammad.

وَلا رَيب أَن اللَه أَسعَد مصره

وَلا رَيب أَن اللَه أَسعَد مصره

بِهِ بَعد مَولاها العَزيز محمد

بِهِ بَعد مَولاها العَزيز محمد

And there is no doubt that God has made his Egypt happy

For through him a father's nobility lives on,

through him, after its mighty lord Muhammad.

Gifting her with eternal honor and felicity.

وَكَيفَ وَقَد أَحيا بِها فَضل والد

وَكَيفَ وَقَد أَحيا بِها فَضل والد

حَباها بعزٍّ سرمدي وَسؤدد

حَباها بعزٍّ سرمدي وَسؤدد

And how could there be doubt, when he has revived there the beneficence of a father

He immortalized his memory in her through his care,

who endowed it with everlasting might and eminence,

And fortified her against every aggressor with his wisdom.

وَخلَّد فيها ذكره باهتمامه

وَخلَّد فيها ذكره باهتمامه

وَحصَّنها بالحزم مِن كُل معتدي

وَحصَّنها بالحزم مِن كُل معتدي

and perpetuated his memory there through his care,

He erected in her every fortress and citadel,

and fortified it with resolve against every aggressor,

With an insight directed in each matter.

وَأَسس فيها كُل حصن وَقَلعة

وَأَسس فيها كُل حصن وَقَلعة

بِرأي لَهُ في كل أَمر مسدد

بِرأي لَهُ في كل أَمر مسدد

and founded there every fort and citadel,

He met his servants with kindness, righteousness and contentment,

by his judgment, sound in every matter.

As they hoped for eternal permanence.

وَقابل بِالمَعروف وَالبر وَالرضا

وَقابل بِالمَعروف وَالبر وَالرضا

عَبيداً لَهُ تَرجو دَوام التخلد

عَبيداً لَهُ تَرجو دَوام التخلد

And he received with kindness, beneficence, and favor

They frolic in the garden of joy and delight,

servants of his who hope for enduring immortality,

And are enraptured by the mention of him in every sitting place.

وَتَمرح في رَوض المَسرة وَالهَنا

وَتَمرح في رَوض المَسرة وَالهَنا

وَتطرب مِن ذكراه في كُل مقعد

وَتطرب مِن ذكراه في كُل مقعد

and revel in the garden of joy and bliss,

Their tongues now praise him,

and rejoice at his remembrance wherever they sit.

For the favors his right hand bestowed yesterday and will bestow tomorrow.

وَتُثني عَلَيهِ مِنهُمُ الآن ألسنٌ

وَتُثني عَلَيهِ مِنهُمُ الآن ألسنٌ

بِما قَدّمت يمناه في الأَمس وَالغَد

بِما قَدّمت يمناه في الأَمس وَالغَد

And now tongues among them praise him

They continually recite to him the verse of gratitude,

for what his right hand has bestowed, yesterday and tomorrow.

In the most perfect chanting and excellent repetition.

وَتَتلو عَلَيهِ آيةَ الشُكر دائِماً

وَتَتلو عَلَيهِ آيةَ الشُكر دائِماً

بِأَكمل تَرتيل وَحُسن تردّد

بِأَكمل تَرتيل وَحُسن تردّد

And they continually recite to him the verse of gratitude

Paradise on earth is none but our Egypt,

with the most perfect measured recitation and beautiful repetition.

Which has soared and taken pride in the Victorious Supporter.

وَما جنة الدُنيا سِوى مَصرنا الَّتي

وَما جنة الدُنيا سِوى مَصرنا الَّتي

سَمَت وَتَباهَت بِالعَزيز المؤيد

سَمَت وَتَباهَت بِالعَزيز المؤيد

And the paradise of this world is none but our Egypt, which

He continues to watch over her and shower her people,

has risen high and gloried in the mighty, strengthened ruler.

With bounty throughout the ages, in every newborn child.

فَلا زالَ يَرعاها وَيغمر أَهلَها

فَلا زالَ يَرعاها وَيغمر أَهلَها

مَدى الدَهر بِالإنعام في كُل مَولد

مَدى الدَهر بِالإنعام في كُل مَولد

So may he ever care for it and shower its people

He continues to protect her with the might of an impregnable defense,

for all time, with bounty at every birthday celebration.

Before which every rebel and corrupter flees.

وَلا زال يَحميها بِسَطوة هاصرٍ

وَلا زال يَحميها بِسَطوة هاصرٍ

يَفرُّ لَديه كُل باغ وَمُفسد

يَفرُّ لَديه كُل باغ وَمُفسد

And may he ever protect it with the might of a crushing lion,

The crown of victory never leaves his noble brow,

before whom every rebel and corrupter flees.

As he marches among the soldiers in might.

وَلا اِنفك تاج النَصر مِن فَوق هامه

وَلا اِنفك تاج النَصر مِن فَوق هامه

يَروح بِهِ بَينَ الجُنود وَيَغتَدي

يَروح بِهِ بَينَ الجُنود وَيَغتَدي

And may the crown of victory never part from his head,

as he goes forth with it among the troops, in the evening and the morning.
