طَلَبتُI asked مِنكَfrom you عَطيهa gift
طَلَبتُ مِنكَ عَطيه
And how could it be otherwise? I myself
Why would it not be when from myself
asked you for a gift:
I asked of you a gift

وَريقةً لا تُساوي
عَطيةًa gift أَشعبيهAshʿab-like
عَطيةً أَشعبيه
a little sheet of paper, not worth
And a sip that's not worth
even an Ashʿab-like gift.
A generous gift
