وَلما توفِّي في المحرَّم مَنصورُ

وَلما توفِّي في المحرَّم مَنصورُ

وَجاوَر ربّاً عنده الذَنب مَغفورُ

وَجاوَر ربّاً عنده الذَنب مَغفورُ

And when Mansur died in Muharram,

When Mansur died in Muharram

and dwelt beside a Lord with whom sin is forgiven,

And dwelled with a Lord to whom sins are forgiven

وَعاينه رضوان قال مؤرخاً

وَعاينه رضوان قال مؤرخاً

لِمَنصورٍ الجنات وَالأَمن وَالحُور

لِمَنصورٍ الجنات وَالأَمن وَالحُور

and Ridwan beheld him, he said, recording the date:

And saw the gardens of Paradise, the historian said

“For Mansur are the gardens, safety, and the houris.”

For Mansur await Paradise, safety, and beautiful maidens
