Your father, Abu Ali, is a man of eminence,
Your father Abu Ali is a man of great distinction
when noble men are counted—and you are his son.
When the generous are counted, you are his son
وَإِنَّand indeed أَباكَyour father إِذwhen تُعزىyou are ascribed إِلَيهِto him

And indeed your father, when you are reckoned his son,
And your father, when traced back to him
is like a peacock whose foot is ugly.
Is like a peacock - only its feet are ugly
