اِذا ما دَهاكَ الخطبُ تَخشى ضَرارَهُ

فَلا تَنتَظِر نَصراً سِوى نَصرِ خالِقك

فَلا تَنتَظِر نَصراً سِوى نَصرِ خالِقك

When calamity befalls you and you fear its harm,

then expect no help except your Creator's help.

فَاِن قَلَّ مالٌ أَو تَأَخَّر وَقتُهُ

فَاِن قَلَّ مالٌ أَو تَأَخَّر وَقتُهُ

فَلا تَتَرَقَّب غَير اِحسانِ رازِقِك

فَلا تَتَرَقَّب غَير اِحسانِ رازِقِك

And if wealth grows scarce or is late in coming,

then await nothing but your Provider's bounty.
