بِحُبِّ عَلِيٍّ تَزولُ الشكوكُ

بِحُبِّ عَلِيٍّ تَزولُ الشكوكُ

وَتَسمو النفوسُ وَيَعلو النِجار

وَتَسمو النفوسُ وَيَعلو النِجار

Through love of Ali, doubts vanish.

And souls rise, and lineage is exalted.

فَأَينَ رَأَيتَ محبّاً لهُ

فَأَينَ رَأَيتَ محبّاً لهُ

فَثَمَّ الزَكاءُ وَثَمَّ الفخار

فَثَمَّ الزَكاءُ وَثَمَّ الفخار

Wherever you see one who loves him,

There is purity, and there is glory.

وَأَينَ رَأَيتَ عدوّاً لهُ

وَأَينَ رَأَيتَ عدوّاً لهُ

فَفي أَصلِهِ نَسَب مستعار

فَفي أَصلِهِ نَسَب مستعار

And wherever you see an enemy of his,

Then in his ancestry lies a borrowed lineage.

فَلا تَعذلوهُ عَلى فِعلِهِ

فَلا تَعذلوهُ عَلى فِعلِهِ

فَحيطان دارِ أَبيهِ قِصار

فَحيطان دارِ أَبيهِ قِصار

So do not reproach him for his conduct:

For the walls of his father's house are low.
