قُل لِاِبنِ حَمزَة يَمسَح

قُل لِاِبنِ حَمزَة يَمسَح

بِكَفِّهِ عارِضَيهِ

بِكَفِّهِ عارِضَيهِ

Tell Ibn Hamza to wipe

Tell the son of Hamza to wipe

both sides of his beard with his palm;

his cheeks with his palm

فَقَد قَرَأتُ بِخَدَّيهِ

فَقَد قَرَأتُ بِخَدَّيهِ

وَالمرسلات عَلَيهِ

وَالمرسلات عَلَيهِ

for I have read on his cheeks

For I have read in his cheeks

“By those sent forth” over him.
