يا مالِكَ الأَرواحِ وَالأَجسامِ

مُديِّرَ الضِياءِ وَالظَلامِ

لا المُشتَري أَرجوهُ لِلاِنعامِ

Ruler of light and darkness,

Director of light and darkness

It is not Jupiter I look to for bounty,

I do not hope for rewards from the Buyer

وَلا أَخافُ الضرَّ من بهرامِ

وَلا أَخافُ الضرَّ من بهرامِ

وَإِنَّما النجومُ كَالأَعلامِ

وَإِنَّما النجومُ كَالأَعلامِ

Nor do I fear harm from Bahram.

The stars are only like signposts,

Indeed, the stars are like flags

وَالعِلمُ عِندَ المَلكِ العَلّامِ

وَالعِلمُ عِندَ المَلكِ العَلّامِ

يا رب فَاِحفَظني من الأَسقامِ

يا رب فَاِحفَظني من الأَسقامِ

And knowledge lies with the All-Knowing King.

O Lord, protect me from illnesses,

O Lord, protect me from illnesses

وَوقِّني حَوادِثَ الأَيّامِ

وَوقِّني حَوادِثَ الأَيّامِ

وَهجنةَ الأَوزارِ وَالآثامِ

وَهجنةَ الأَوزارِ وَالآثامِ

And shield me from the misfortunes of the days,

And guide me through the events of days

And the disgrace of transgressions and sins.

And the burden of sins and misdeeds

هِبني لحبِّ المُصطَفى المِغنامِ

هِبني لحبِّ المُصطَفى المِغنامِ

وَصنوِهِ وَآلِهِ الكِرامِ

وَصنوِهِ وَآلِهِ الكِرامِ

Pardon me for love of the Chosen One, rich in bounty,

Grant me the love of the Chosen One as bounty

And of his brother and his noble family.

And his progeny and honored family
