حبُّ الوَصِيِّ علامَة

حبُّ الوَصِيِّ علامَة

في الناسِ من أَقوى الشُهودِ

في الناسِ من أَقوى الشُهودِ

Love of the Prophet’s legatee is a sign—

Love of the designated successor is a sign,

among humankind, one of the strongest testimonies.

among people, one of the strongest witnesses.

فَإِذا رَأَيتَ مُحِبَّهُ

فَإِذا رَأَيتَ مُحِبَّهُ

فَاِحكُم عَلى كرمٍ وجودِ

فَاِحكُم عَلى كرمٍ وجودِ

So if you see one who loves him,

So when you see one who loves him,

judge him noble and generous.

then judge him to possess nobility and generosity.

وَإِذا رَأَيتَ مناصِباً

وَإِذا رَأَيتَ مناصِباً

مُتَعَلِّقاً حَبلَ الجحود

مُتَعَلِّقاً حَبلَ الجحود

But if you see one hostile to him,

And when you see an adversary

clinging to the rope of denial,

clinging to the rope of denial,

فَاِعلَم بِأَنَّ طلوعَهُ

فَاِعلَم بِأَنَّ طلوعَهُ

من أَصلِ آباءٍ يَهودِ

من أَصلِ آباءٍ يَهودِ

then know that his very emergence

then know that he springs

is from the stock of forefathers who were Jews.
