وَمُهَفهَفٍ شكل المجونِ

وَمُهَفهَفٍ شكل المجونِ

أَضنى فُؤادي بِالفُتونِ

And a slender-waisted youth, wantonly coquettish,

A garden of ecstasy in lovely forms,

Has made my heart languish with enchantment.

My heart intoxicated with pleasures,

فَنَسيمُهُ ملءُ الأُنو

فَنَسيمُهُ ملءُ الأُنو

فِ وَحُسنِه ملءُ العُيونِ

فِ وَحُسنِه ملءُ العُيونِ

For his fragrance fills the nostrils,

Its breeze fills the hours,

And his beauty fills the eyes.

And in its beauty fills all eyes.
