I have no possessions to leave to the Turks
Love’s religion allows no partners
I have devoted myself to the creed of passion
So their love to me is an act of worship
I have risked my soul for their sake
Though the path of love is narrow
I'm content with affection from them
For contentment itself is a kingdom
And the one I love can do no wrong
Though the blame is on me when we disagree
His eyebrows and eyes
Are ruin to lovers like me
Eyebrows and eyes
That pierce my heart
He turns away, silent, while I
Complain of love, and doubt.
