وَجُيوشُ النُجومِ جافِلَةٌ
وَلِواءُand the banner الشُعاعِof radiance قَدhad نُشِراbeen unfurled
وَلِواءُ الشُعاعِ قَد نُشِرا
And the armies of stars were fleeing,
And the armies of stars marched away
And the banner of radiance had been unfurled.
And the banner of light was unfurled

He came before dawn, offering union with him—
He came to give the gift of his company in the early morn
A young gazelle who had bewitched hearts.
Uplifting hearts that were enchanted

Then I knew for certain that he was a moon,
So I was certain he was the moon
And likewise, the night bears the moon.
Just as the night carries the moon
