هُنّيتَmay you be congratulated بِالوَلَدِon the son السَعيدِfortunate فَقَدfor indeed أَتىhe has come
هُنّيتَ بِالوَلَدِ السَعيدِ فَقَد أَتى
وَفقَin accordance with المُرادِthe desire وَأَنتَand you وَفقُin accord with مُرادِهhis desire
وَفقَ المُرادِ وَأَنتَ وَفقُ مُرادِه
Congratulations on the auspicious son—for he has come,
Congratulations on the fortunate son, for he has come
matching what was wished, while you match what he wishes.
just as you desired, and you are just as he desires.
فَاللَهِso may God يُبقيهِpreserve him وَيُبقيكُمand preserve you (plural) لَهُfor him
فَاللَهِ يُبقيهِ وَيُبقيكُم لَهُ
حَتّىuntil تَرىyou see الأَولادَthe children مِنfrom أَولادِهhis children
حَتّى تَرى الأَولادَ مِن أَولادِه
By God, may He draw him near and preserve you for him,
So may God preserve him and preserve you for him,
until you see children born of his children.
