في كل شهر هلالي مناحسها
Beware seven days whose ill omens recur
Unfailingly in every lunar month.
فثالثfor the third الشهرof the month مذمومill-regarded وخامسهand its fifth
فثالث الشهر مذموم وخامسه
وثالثand the third العشرةthe ten-day period الوسطىmiddle وسادسهاand its sixth
وثالث العشرة الوسطى وسادسها
For the month's third is ill-omened, and its fifth,
And the third of its middle ten days, and their sixth.
ثمthen اخشfear حاديfirst عشريهits twenty (in 'its twenty-first') فخشيتهfor fearing it
ثم اخش حادي عشريه فخشيته
حزمprudence ورابعهاand its fourth (the twenty-fourth) يخشىis feared وخامسهاand its fifth (the twenty-fifth)
حزم ورابعها يخشى وخامسها
Then fear its twenty-first, for fearing it
Is prudence; its twenty-fourth is feared, and its twenty-fifth.
