وَمِن عَجَبي أَنّي أَحِنُّ إِلَيكُمُ

وَمِن عَجَبي أَنّي أَحِنُّ إِلَيكُمُ

وَلَم يَخلُ طَرفي مِن سَناكُم وَلا قَلبي

وَلَم يَخلُ طَرفي مِن سَناكُم وَلا قَلبي

And I marvel that I yearn for you,

And of my wonders is that I yearn for you all

though neither my eye nor my heart has been without your radiance.

My eyes and heart have never been devoid of your image

وَأَطلُبُ قُرباً مِن حِماكُم وَأَنتُمُ

وَأَطلُبُ قُرباً مِن حِماكُم وَأَنتُمُ

إِلى ناظِري وَالقَلبُ في غايَةِ القُربِ

إِلى ناظِري وَالقَلبُ في غايَةِ القُربِ

And I seek nearness to your sanctuary, though you

I seek closeness in your protection, while you

are as close as can be to my eye and heart.

Are nearest to my eyes, and my heart is most attached
