بُورِكَ في عَونٍ وفي أعوانه

بُورِكَ في عَونٍ وفي أعوانه

وفي جَوَاريه وفي غِلمَانِه

وفي جَوَاريه وفي غِلمَانِه

Blessed be ʿAwn and his helpers,

Blessings abound for Awun, his men,

and his slave women and his slave boys.

His servants, and youths so fair.

وبارك اللَّهُ على دُعَّانِه

وبارك اللَّهُ على دُعَّانِه

أطعَمَنَا عَونٌ على خِوَانِه

أطعَمَنَا عَونٌ على خِوَانِه

And may God bless his duʿʿān (meaning uncertain).

God's favor on those who call

ʿAwn fed us at his dining table.

To be fed at Awun's board and share

يُعطي وما يُقلِعُ عن جِفَانِه

يُعطي وما يُقلِعُ عن جِفَانِه

وعَن هَداياه وعن إيوانِه

وعَن هَداياه وعن إيوانِه

He gives and never forsakes his serving bowls,

His gifts that flow, cease not at all

nor his gifts, nor his vaulted hall.

From courtyards wide and chambers there.
