قَدindeed وَجدنَاwe have found الدَّمعَtears أشفَىmost healing لِلكَمَدfor grief
وَرَأَينَاand we have seen الغَيَّerror أدنَىnearer لِلرَّشَدto right guidance
We have found tears the best cure for grief,
We have found tears more healing than poultice for inflammation,
And we have seen error as nearer to right guidance.
And we have seen abandonment closer than guidance to integrity.

Kingdom, religion and victory over the oppressed,

يَجمَعُhe gathers الدُّنيَاthe world بِكَفَّيwith the two palms of رأيِهِhis judgment

He gathers the world in the two palms of his judgment,
He gathers the world in the palms of his opinion,
As you gather thousands when counting on your fingers.
He gathered you in thousands in the necklace of number.

He asks the captive to ask of him;
He asks the supplicant to ask him,
Then, when he grants him a kindness, he denies it.
But when he grants him a kindness, he denies it.
