مُحِبٌّa lover لاnot يَرىsees حَسَناًanyone beautiful سِواهاother than her
مُحِبٌّ لا يَرى حَسَناً سِواها

A lover wept with joy when he saw her

لَقَدindeed ظَفِرَتtriumphed يَداهُhis two hands وَنالَand he gained مُلكاًa kingdom
لَقَد ظَفِرَت يَداهُ وَنالَ مُلكاً
لَإِنif indeed كانَتshe was تَراهُshe sees him كَماas يَراهاhe sees her
لَإِن كانَت تَراهُ كَما يَراها
His hands have indeed triumphed, and he has gained a kingdom,
His hands had won and gained a kingdom

If she saw him as he saw her there
