اِذهَبي في كِلاءَةِ الرَحمَنِ

أَنتِ مِنّي في ذِمَّةٍ وَأَمانِ

Go in God's protection

You are under my protection and safety

لا تَخافي وَلَن تُراعي بِسوءٍ

ما تَغَنّى الحَمامُ في الأَغصانِ

Fear not and no harm will come to you

As doves coo in the branches

دَلَّهَتني وَالجيدُ مِنها كَلَيلى

وَالحَشا وَالبُغامُ وَالعَينانِ

Her neck charmed me, graceful as a gazelle's

With dark eyes and heavy lids
