    Sinan wishes we would wage war on our own people,

    yet war scatters the community and brings hardship.

    He creeps about, though not unseen, to sow discord among us,

    creeping as ants crept toward their stone.

    ولا تشمتا الاعداء يفترق الشمل

    So, two sons of Baghid, return to peace, and you will both be safe;

    and do not let the enemies gloat by letting your unity break apart.

    Indeed, the path of war is rugged and bewildering,

    and the path of peace is safe and easy.
