مَن وُلّي الأَحكام بَينَ الوَرى

مَن وُلّي الأَحكام بَينَ الوَرى

شَيئانِ مَفروضان في ذمَّتِه

شَيئانِ مَفروضان في ذمَّتِه

Whoever is appointed to judge among humankind

The one who judges mankind

Has two duties laid upon him:

Has two duties to fulfill

إِظهار سرّ العَدل في حُكمه

إِظهار سرّ العَدل في حُكمه

وَالنُصح لِلسُلطان في خِدمَتِه

وَالنُصح لِلسُلطان في خِدمَتِه

To reveal the secret of justice in his judgment,

To reveal in his rulings the truth of justice

And to offer sincere counsel to the sultan in his service.

And to advise the ruler with loyalty in his service
