نَستودع اللَه أَرضاً تُنبت الطَرَبا

نَستودع اللَه أَرضاً تُنبت الطَرَبا

وَمَنزِلاً جَمع الأَحباب وَالأُدبا

وَمَنزِلاً جَمع الأَحباب وَالأُدبا

We entrust to God a land that brings forth delight,

And a dwelling that gathered loved ones and men of letters,

وَساحة نَظرت عَيني بدور دُجى

وَساحة نَظرت عَيني بدور دُجى

بِها فَخِلت سَماءً أَطلَعت شُهُبا

بِها فَخِلت سَماءً أَطلَعت شُهُبا

And a courtyard—my eye beheld full moons of night

Within it, so I fancied it a sky that had brought forth shooting stars.

يا سادة آنَسونا في مَنازلنا

يا سادة آنَسونا في مَنازلنا

حَتّى بَلَغنا بِهم مِن أُنسنا أربا

حَتّى بَلَغنا بِهم مِن أُنسنا أربا

O gentlemen who brought us cheer in our homes,

Until, through them, we attained our desire for companionship.

آن الوَداع فَلا تَنسوا مَودَّتنا

آن الوَداع فَلا تَنسوا مَودَّتنا

وَودّكم حفظهُ ما بَيننا وَجَبا

وَودّكم حفظهُ ما بَيننا وَجَبا

The hour of farewell has come, so do not forget our affection;

And preserving your affection between us has become a duty.

مِنّا السلام عَلَيكُم وَالتَحيّة ما

مِنّا السلام عَلَيكُم وَالتَحيّة ما

لَنا المُهيمن بِالستر الجَميل حَبا

لَنا المُهيمن بِالستر الجَميل حَبا

From us, peace and greetings be upon you, as long as

The Guardian favors us with gracious protection.
