1. غَيثُ أَفراح الملا قَد وَكَفا

    حَسبك اللَه بِهَذا وَكَفى

    The rain of the people's joys has poured down.

    God is enough for you in this—and He suffices.

  2. يَمّم البشر مَعاليك وَفي

    حَرم الفَضل لَدَيك اِعتَكَفا

    Gladness turned toward your lofty station, and in

    the sanctuary of excellence in your presence, it dwelt in devotion.

  3. حَيث مَغناك لَنا لاحَ بِهِ

    طالع السَعد بأنس وَصفا

    Where, in your dwelling, there shone for us

    the rising star of good fortune, with delight and serenity.

  4. وَتَباشير الهَنا قَد أَقبَلَت

    وَلعمري بِكَ نالَت شَرَفا

    And the first tidings of happiness have arrived;

    and, by my life, through you they have gained honor.

  5. فَالتَهاني أرّخَت بشرى لَنا

    بِالصَفا وافى سَمِيُّ المُصطَفى

    So congratulations marked the date of glad tidings for us:

    With serenity came the namesake of al-Mustafa.
