وَفَت بُشرى سُرورك بِالوُعود

وَفَت بُشرى سُرورك بِالوُعود

وَهَلّ هِلال سَعدك في الوُجودِ

وَهَلّ هِلال سَعدك في الوُجودِ

The glad tidings of your joy have fulfilled the promises,

Good tidings of your joy have come with promises,

and the crescent of your good fortune has risen in the world.

And the crescent moon of your fortune has risen into existence.

وَمَولد نَجلك المَسعود أَضحى

وَمَولد نَجلك المَسعود أَضحى

لَهُ المَجد المُؤثّلُ عَن جُدودِ

لَهُ المَجد المُؤثّلُ عَن جُدودِ

And the birth of your fortunate son is now

The auspicious birth of your blessed son,

endowed with glory firmly rooted in his forefathers.

For him is glorious renown from his ancestors.

هِلال هَلّ مِن فلك المَعالي

هِلال هَلّ مِن فلك المَعالي

وَلَكن حَلَّ في سَعد السُعودِ

وَلَكن حَلَّ في سَعد السُعودِ

A crescent has risen from the sphere of lofty honors,

A crescent has risen, not from the sphere of highness,

and yet has settled in Saʿd al-Suʿūd.

Rather it rose in the good fortune of the Saudis.

فَدُم يا مُصطَفى فلكَ التَهاني

فَدُم يا مُصطَفى فلكَ التَهاني

بِمَولده فَذَلِكَ خَير عيدِ

بِمَولده فَذَلِكَ خَير عيدِ

So live on, O Mustafa; congratulations are yours

So congratulations Mustafa, the sphere of congratulations,

on his birth, for that is the finest festival.

For his birth, that is the best celebration.

هَناء لَم يَزَل أَرّخت يَنمو

هَناء لَم يَزَل أَرّخت يَنمو

بِنَجلك دم تَهنَّ أَبا الرَشيدِ

بِنَجلك دم تَهنَّ أَبا الرَشيدِ

A joy that never ceases to grow—I recorded its date:

Delight that has not ceased to be dated, it grows,

With your son, live on rejoicing, Abu al-Rashid.

Through your son, congratulations Abu Al-Rashid.
