المركز الثقب الَّذي الخَيط بِهِ

وَقَد يسمّى قطباً فاِنتبِه

The center is the hole with the thread in it.

وَقَوس الاِرتفاع ما تُحيطُ

بِالربع مِن دائِرَة خُطوط

بِالربع مِن دائِرَة خُطوط

And the arc of altitude is that which surrounds

the quadrant—the lines of a circle.
