رِوايات الهَنا يا رَبّ قامَت
بِناamong us وَالكُلّand everyone مُمتثلونobeying أَمرَكYour command
بِنا وَالكُلّ مُمتثلون أَمرَك
Tales of bliss, O Lord, have arisen
Our hopes, O Lord, have been realized
among us, and all obey Your command,
And all are obedient to Your command
بِأَيّامin the days of الخَليفةthe caliph ذيpossessing المَعاليlofty distinctions
بِأَيّام الخَليفة ذي المَعالي
عَزيزmighty المُلكsovereignty مَنwho قَدindeed حازَhas gained نَصرَكYour aid
عَزيز المُلك مَن قَد حازَ نَصرَك

In the days of the glorious Caliph
mighty in sovereignty, who has gained Your aid.
The mighty king who has gained Your victory
أَدمmake endure ياO رَبّناour Lord الأَفراحthe joys فيناamong us
أَدم يا رَبّنا الأَفراح فينا
وَأَسبلand let down ياO جَميلbeautiful السترthe veiling سترَكYour veil
وَأَسبل يا جَميل الستر سترَك
Make joys endure among us, O our Lord,
Perpetuate, O our Lord, joy amongst us
And let down Your veil, O You whose veiling is beautiful.
And clothe us, O Beautiful One, with Your veil of honor
