ياO طالِباًseeker نَيلattainment السَعادةhappiness وَالمُنىand wishes
يا طالِباً نَيل السَعادة وَالمُنى
يَمّمhead toward رِحابspacious precincts حِمىsanctuary أَبيAbu (father of) العَلمينِal-ʿAlamayn (the two banners)
يَمّم رِحاب حِمى أَبي العَلمينِ
O you who seek to attain happiness and fulfill your wishes,
O seeker of happiness and wishes fulfilled
Make for the spacious precincts of Abu al-ʿAlamayn’s sanctuary.
Set your course for the sanctum of the Master of Both Worlds
هُوَhe قُطبpole دائرةcircle الوُجودexistence وَجدّهand his grandfather
هُوَ قُطب دائرة الوُجود وَجدّه
خَيرthe best of الخَلائقcreatures أَشرَفthe noblest of الثقلينِhumankind and jinn
خَير الخَلائق أَشرَف الثقلينِ
He is the pole of the circle of existence, and his grandfather
He is the axis of existence and its essence
is the best of creatures, the noblest of humankind and jinn.

يَكفيهِsuffices him مِنof شَرَفhonor المَناقبvirtues أَنَّهُthat he
يَكفيهِ مِن شَرَف المَناقب أَنَّهُ
مُدَّتwas extended لَهُto him يَدhand سَيّدmaster الكونينِthe two worlds
مُدَّت لَهُ يَد سَيّد الكونينِ
It is honor enough for him among his virtues that
His exalted virtues suffice that for him
the hand of the master of the two worlds was extended to him.
