ياO مَنyou who غَداhave become فيabout أَمرهhis affairs حائِراًbewildered
يا مَن غَدا في أَمره حائِراً
صَبراًbe patient فَقَدfor indeed فازَhas triumphed الصَبورthe patient one الشَكورthe grateful one
صَبراً فَقَد فازَ الصَبور الشَكور
O you who have become bewildered about your affairs,
O you who find yourself confused in your affairs
Be patient, for the patient and grateful one has triumphed.

وَإِنand if تَضقyou feel constrained ذرعاًin capacity to endure فَسلّمthen submit وَقُلand say
وَإِن تَضق ذرعاً فَسلّم وَقُل

ألا إِلى اللَه تَصير الأُمور
And if you feel overwhelmed, then submit and say:

Indeed, to God all affairs return.
