بِمَظهر الفَتح المبين

Glad tidings to the king of the faithful,

at the manifestation of clear victory!

خابَت ظُنون الطامِعين

خابَت ظُنون الطامِعين

بِالطُغيان في مُلكِنا

بِالطُغيان في مُلكِنا

The hopes of the covetous have failed—

those bent on tyranny within our realm.

يا خَسران عدونا

يا خَسران عدونا

بِالبُهتان قَد أَيقنا

بِالبُهتان قَد أَيقنا

Oh, the ruin of our enemy!

In falsehood he had placed his trust.

نال المَعالي الفاخِرَه

نال المَعالي الفاخِرَه

جَيش المُلوك الظافره

جَيش المُلوك الظافره

Splendid heights have been attained

by the army of the victorious kings.

أَنعم بِجُند القاهره

أَنعم بِجُند القاهره

بِالإقدام حازَ الثَنا

بِالإقدام حازَ الثَنا

How splendid are the troops of Cairo!

Through boldness it won praise

وَالإِكرام لَمّا اِعتَنى

وَالإِكرام لَمّا اِعتَنى

في إِرغام أَعدائنا

في إِرغام أَعدائنا

and honor, when it applied itself

to humbling our enemies.

راياتُها بَين الأَنام

راياتُها بَين الأَنام

أَبدَت لَنا عزّ المقام

أَبدَت لَنا عزّ المقام

Its banners, among humankind,

showed us the glory of high standing.

سَرَت إِلى نَيل المَرام

سَرَت إِلى نَيل المَرام

كَالأَقمار تهدي السَنا

كَالأَقمار تهدي السَنا

They advanced toward the desired goal,

like moons, bestowing radiance

لِلأَبصار مُستحسنا

لِلأَبصار مُستحسنا

وَالإِشعار قَد سرَّنا

وَالإِشعار قَد سرَّنا

upon the eyes, pleasing to behold.

And the announcement has delighted us.

لاحَت تَباشير السُعود

لاحَت تَباشير السُعود

تَتلو التَهاني في الوجود

تَتلو التَهاني في الوجود

The first signs of good fortune appeared,

reciting congratulations throughout the world.

وَالفَوز في تِلكَ الجُنود

وَالفَوز في تِلكَ الجُنود

لَمّا لاح نِلنا المُنى

لَمّا لاح نِلنا المُنى

And victory among those troops—

when it shone forth, we attained our wishes.

وَالأَفراح قامَت بِنا

وَالأَفراح قامَت بِنا

قُم يا صاح نَلقى الهَنا

قُم يا صاح نَلقى الهَنا

And joys arose within us.

Rise, friend, let us meet with bliss.

قَد وَفَّق اللَه المُلوك

قَد وَفَّق اللَه المُلوك

لِلحُبّ في حسن السُلوك

لِلحُبّ في حسن السُلوك

God has indeed granted the kings success

in love through good conduct.

فَيا إِلهي أمَّلوك

فَيا إِلهي أمَّلوك

بِالإِقبال أَن تَمننا

بِالإِقبال أَن تَمننا

So, my God, they placed their hopes in You

to favor us with good fortune

وَالإفضال يا مُحسنا

وَالإفضال يا مُحسنا

في أَحوال عُمومنا

في أَحوال عُمومنا

and bounty, O Benefactor,

in the affairs of all of us.

مشيرنا بَدر العُلى

مشيرنا بَدر العُلى

مَحمود أَرباب الوَلا

مَحمود أَرباب الوَلا

Our marshal, the full moon of exalted glory,

praised by the people of loyalty—

يا رَبّ وَفّقه إِلى

يا رَبّ وَفّقه إِلى

عزّ الجاه بَعد الغِنى

عزّ الجاه بَعد الغِنى

O Lord, grant him success in attaining

the glory of rank, after wealth,

في دُنياه مَع الهَنا

في دُنياه مَع الهَنا

كَي نَلقاه ذُخراً لَنا

كَي نَلقاه ذُخراً لَنا

in his earthly life, with bliss,

so that we may find him a treasure for us.
