بنشر التجلّي والموانح تمنحُ

The breezes of the garden of outpouring breathe perfume,

Wafting the scent of self-revelation and bestowing gifts.

بها نسمة الأسحار هبّت بنفحةٍ

بها نسمة الأسحار هبّت بنفحةٍ

على روح ذي وجدٍ بها تتروّح

على روح ذي وجدٍ بها تتروّح

With them, the predawn breeze blew a fragrant breath

Upon an ecstatic spirit that finds refreshment through them.

فكم نفحاتٍ في الغيوب لربّنا

فكم نفحاتٍ في الغيوب لربّنا

تهبّ سحيراً في الحشا فيفحفح

تهبّ سحيراً في الحشا فيفحفح

For countless are our Lord's breaths of grace in the unseen,

Blowing before dawn within the breast, making it sigh.

فبشرى لمن أمسى لها متعرّضاً

فبشرى لمن أمسى لها متعرّضاً

بتجريد توحيد الصبابة يشطح

بتجريد توحيد الصبابة يشطح

So glad tidings to whoever spends the evening receptive to them,

In ardent love's pure affirmation of oneness, speaking ecstatically.

على روضة الأذكار بات هبوبها

على روضة الأذكار بات هبوبها

فأغصانُها وجداً به تترنّح

فأغصانُها وجداً به تترنّح

All night they blew across the garden of invocations,

So its branches sway in ecstasy at that breath.

بها أخبر المحبوب طه حبيبُنا

بها أخبر المحبوب طه حبيبُنا

كما قد أتى عنه صحيحٌ مصحّح

كما قد أتى عنه صحيحٌ مصحّح

The Beloved Taha, our beloved, told of them,

As has come down from him in a sound, authenticated report.

تجلّى بها الغفّار في قلب ذي صفا

تجلّى بها الغفّار في قلب ذي صفا

تخلّى عن الأغيار والنفس يطرح

تخلّى عن الأغيار والنفس يطرح

Through them the All-Forgiving revealed himself in a pure one's heart,

Who has forsaken all else and casts the self aside.

له خلوة التجريد في جلوة الصفا

له خلوة التجريد في جلوة الصفا

وفي حلية التوحيد بالوجد يمرح

وفي حلية التوحيد بالوجد يمرح

His is the seclusion of detachment amid purity's unveiling,

And in the adornment of oneness he revels in ecstasy.

يجول بميدان الخلا وهو في الملا

يجول بميدان الخلا وهو في الملا

وفي وسع بيداء المشاهد يسرح

وفي وسع بيداء المشاهد يسرح

He roams the field of solitude while among the throng,

And ranges across the wide desert of visions.

وفي ملكوت الغيب تسرح روحه

وفي ملكوت الغيب تسرح روحه

لها متن كنز العفو في السرّ يشرح

لها متن كنز العفو في السرّ يشرح

And his spirit roams the kingdom of the unseen;

To it, the text of pardon's treasure is expounded in secret.

ويظهر فيّاض المواهب في الخفا

ويظهر فيّاض المواهب في الخفا

ومنه الملا يملا الإِنا وهو يطفح

ومنه الملا يملا الإِنا وهو يطفح

And the lavish giver of gifts appears in concealment,

And from him comes the fullness that fills the vessel to overflowing.

ينابيع أسرارٍ هنا قد تفجّرت

ينابيع أسرارٍ هنا قد تفجّرت

على قلبه فيه اللسان يصرّح

على قلبه فيه اللسان يصرّح

Here springs of mysteries have burst forth

Upon his heart; the tongue speaks openly of it.

يترجم عنها وهو بالفيض ممتلٍ

يترجم عنها وهو بالفيض ممتلٍ

وكلّ إناءٍ بالّذي فيه ينضح

وكلّ إناءٍ بالّذي فيه ينضح

It gives voice to them, brimming with the outpouring,

And every vessel exudes what is within it.
