فصرت كأنّي بين أهلي وأترابي

فصرت كأنّي بين أهلي وأترابي

I was grateful for my nearness to you in a time of separation.

I praise my coming close to you with pure intention,

So I came to feel as though I were among my family and my peers.

So I became as though among my family and friends,

لأنّك باب الأنس والمجد والتقى

لأنّك باب الأنس والمجد والتقى

وما ضاع من أضحى قريباً من الباب

وما ضاع من أضحى قريباً من الباب

For you are the gate to companionship, glory, and piety.

For you are the door of intimacy, glory and piety,

And none who comes to be near the gate is lost.

And none is lost who becomes close to the door.
