بمحمّدٍ وببنتِه وببعلها

بمحمّدٍ وببنتِه وببعلها

أهل الفضائل والمكارم والندى

أهل الفضائل والمكارم والندى

By Muhammad, his daughter, and her husband,

By Muhammad, his daughter and her husband,

people of virtue, noble deeds, and generosity,

The people of virtues, dignities and freshness,

المستوين على عروش جلالة

المستوين على عروش جلالة

وابنيهما السبطين أعلام الهدى

وابنيهما السبطين أعلام الهدى

seated upon thrones of majesty,

Seated on thrones of majesty,

and by their two sons, the two grandsons, banners of guidance,

And their two grandsons, the guides,

وبأهل بدرٍ والصحابة كلّهم

وبأهل بدرٍ والصحابة كلّهم

من قاتلوا فيك العشيرة والعدا

من قاتلوا فيك العشيرة والعدا

and by the people of Badr and all the Companions,

And the people of Badr, and all the companions,

who fought kinsfolk and enemies for Your sake,

Who fought against you, the clan and the enemies,

وبسائر الأحزاب أهل الارتقا

وبسائر الأحزاب أهل الارتقا

والتابعين وتابعيهم سرمدا

والتابعين وتابعيهم سرمدا

and by all the groups, people of spiritual ascent,

And the rest of the parties, the people of ascent,

and the Followers and their followers forever,

And the followers, and their followers forever,

وبعبدك النعمان ثمّ بمالكٍ

وبعبدك النعمان ثمّ بمالكٍ

من للشريعة والهداية شيّدا

من للشريعة والهداية شيّدا

and by Your servant al-Nu'man, then by Malik,

And Your servant Al-Nu'man, then Malik,

who built up sacred law and guidance,

Who established the Shariah and guidance,

وبكلّ مجتهدٍ وكلّ مقدّمٍ

وبكلّ مجتهدٍ وكلّ مقدّمٍ

والشافعي قطب الوجود وأحمدا

والشافعي قطب الوجود وأحمدا

and by every jurist exercising independent judgment and every eminent leader,

And every jurist, and everyone preceding,

and al-Shafi'i, the pole of existence, and Ahmad,

Al-Shafi'i, the pole of existence, and Ahmad,

فرّج عن المكروب واكشف غمّه

فرّج عن المكروب واكشف غمّه

وأنله جمعاً بين أهل الاهتدا

وأنله جمعاً بين أهل الاهتدا

relieve the distressed one and dispel his sorrow,

Relieve the distressed of his anguish,

and grant him fellowship among the rightly guided,

And join him with the guided people,

وافتح له لينال كلّ مطالبٍ

وافتح له لينال كلّ مطالبٍ

يا خير من بسط الأنامُ له يدا

يا خير من بسط الأنامُ له يدا

and open the way for him to attain all he seeks,

And open for him to attain every wish,

O best of those to whom humankind has stretched out a hand.

O best One who stretches His hand to people.
