شمس فضلٍ أشرقت لم تغبِ

من ضريحٍ فاض من إرث النبي

من ضريحٍ فاض من إرث النبي

A sun of grace shone forth and did not set,

A sun of virtue shone and did not set

from a tomb overflowing with the Prophet's legacy.

From a shrine overflowing with the Prophet's heritage

كم حوى من علم غيبٍ مختبِ

كم حوى من علم غيبٍ مختبِ

قبر محي الدين إبن العربي

قبر محي الدين إبن العربي

How much hidden knowledge of the unseen was held

Containing so much hidden knowledge examined

by the tomb of Muhyi al-Din ibn al-Arabi!

The grave of Muhyiddin Ibn Al-Arabi

كل من لاذ به أو زارَهُ

كل من لاذ به أو زارَهُ

حلّ من كهف المعالي حرما

حلّ من كهف المعالي حرما

Everyone who sought refuge with him or visited him

All who resorted to him or visited him

found a sanctuary in the cave of lofty virtues.

Found sanctuary in the cave of glory and honor

واحتمى من لاذ في ذاك الحمى

واحتمى من لاذ في ذاك الحمى

كلّ من نحو حماه يمّما

كلّ من نحو حماه يمّما

And whoever sought refuge in that haven found protection.

And took refuge, those who took refuge in that sanctuary

Everyone who made for his sanctuary

All who headed towards its protection determined

قضيت حاجاته من بعد ما

قضيت حاجاته من بعد ما

غفر الله له أوزارَهُ

غفر الله له أوزارَهُ

had his needs fulfilled after

I fulfilled his needs after

God had forgiven him his sins.

God forgave him his burdens
