زارَتshe visited فَتَقَطَّرَand grew fragrant الثَرىthe earth حينَwhen جَثَتshe knelt
زارَت فَتَقَطَّرَ الثَرى حينَ جَثَت
قَدperhaps تُبلغنيshe brings me to نِهايَةَthe utmost extent of المنىdesires لَوif مَكَثَتshe stayed
قَد تُبلغني نِهايَةَ المنى لَو مَكَثَت
She visited, and the earth grew fragrant when she knelt.
She might have brought me to my utmost desire, had she stayed.
لَوif فازَwas blessed بِنَشرِهاwith her fragrance بِواليcrumbling رِمَمٍbones
لَو فازَ بِنَشرِها بِوالي رِمَمٍ
بِالطَبعby nature قبيلَshortly before بَعثِهنَّtheir resurrection اِنبَعَثَتthey would have risen
بِالطَبع قبيلَ بَعثِهنَّ اِنبَعَثَت
Had crumbling bones gained her fragrance,
They would naturally have risen shortly before their resurrection.
