لا ذَرَّةَ لِلنارِ وَلا لِلماءِ

إِلّا فاهَت لِمُبدِعِ الأَشياءِ

No atom for the fire, nor for the water,

Except their mouths in praise of the Creator of things.

لِلحَمدِ لَهُ تَلَسَّنُ النار كَما

في الشُكرِ أَفاضَ واكفُ الأَنداءِ

For His praise the fire lisps, as do

The most eloquent of orators in thanking Him.
