I have not forgotten the morn she rushed forth in her cloak,
I have not forgotten the morning she swept forth in her cloak.
her smile parting to reveal a strand of pearls.
Her lips part as she smiles, revealing a strand of pearls.

She visited me among the sands, at Siqt Liwa;
She visited me among the sands, on the edge of a winding dune.
and for all time, through al-Siqt, I vie in glory with nations.
So forever I boast before nations of that dune’s edge.
