كَم قُلتُ وَضَمَّ شَملَنا الرَوحاءُ
ماءٌwater خَصِرٌcool وَجَنَّةٌand a garden فَيحاءُspacious
ماءٌ خَصِرٌ وَجَنَّةٌ فَيحاءُ
How often I said, as al-Rawha brought us together:
Cool water and a spacious garden!
مِنfrom أَينَwhere تَوافَقَتconverged لَناfor us الأَنحاءُthe regions
مِن أَينَ تَوافَقَت لَنا الأَنحاءُ
هَذاكَthat أَناI وَهذهand this البَطحاءُal-Batha (the pebbly plain)
هَذاكَ أَنا وَهذه البَطحاءُ
From where have the regions converged for us?
