ياO وَيليَmy woe إِذاwhen عادَturned into رضاهاher favor غَضَباanger
Because of gray hair, I see the cord of her love snapped.
I see the rope of her passion has snapped
Woe is me when her favor turns to anger.
Alas if her contentment turns to wrath

She humiliates me like dust for a wind that has fallen still.
Like dust she humiliates me when the wind dies down
My fire has gone out, and the water of my face has dried up.
My fire is extinguished and the water of my face is dried up
