A new age: the worlds smile upon it,
A new era whose heavens declare its name
Praising its people, illustrious champions,
All the eminent praise its people

Or everyone proud of fine construction.

One soars to the heights effortlessly
And that one continually voices praise and God's oneness.

If they strike a fortress, it surrenders its keys.

We used to fear lightning from the planets
Their red balls from their black mouths.

Now it comes to us from the sea, bearing threats.

By God, the working of steam's forces is nothing but
Nature, God its great Creator
A kind of magic, yet not one to be rejected.

This is the sage whose wise judgments we recount,
He eased affairs through justice, till it delighted him
As they recounted those of Solomon, son of David.

He so delights in justice that he is almost enraptured by
His resolve rides the back of horrors
The stroke of swords upon the necks of the ill-fated.

He has surpassed Luqman in prudence and affirmation of God's oneness.

The flood of its bounty embraces all who are born.

And his breast is an unguarded treasure of knowledge.

And forgiveness is the trait of one distinguished by generosity.
