I spend the day with my eyes lowering their gaze and looking,
I sacrifice myself, while my sights are dimming and seeing,
And my thoughts spend the night fashioning and breaking.
And my thoughts spend the night sculpting and breaking.

Rather, I begin a phase and end another,
And I press my resolves forward, then put them off.
And I put forth resolutions, then delay them.

Disappearing from sights then reappearing.

So I see what is unavoidable in its command:
So I saw what was inevitable in its command.
