جمعُ الغِنَى حاز تقسيماً وجامُعُه

يومَ الحِمام ثلثاً افضلَ القِسَمِ

يومَ الحِمام ثلثاً افضلَ القِسَمِ

Amassed wealth and its amasser are divided,

The gatherer of wealth finds a division, and he who gathered

on the day of death, into three parts—the best of divisions:

On the day of grief a third is the best portion,

فبعدهُ المال للوُرَّاتِ منقسمٌ

فبعدهُ المال للوُرَّاتِ منقسمٌ

والجسمُ للدُودِ ثم النفسُ للضَرَمِ

والجسمُ للدُودِ ثم النفسُ للضَرَمِ

so after his passing, the wealth is divided among the heirs,

Then after it wealth for the heirs divided,

and the body goes to the worms, then the soul to the flames.

And the body for worms, then the soul for the Grave.
