Ah, may God protect you—what a dwelling,

That rose in splendor through its beauty and grew precious!

For the flowers of the hills do not rival it,

Nor do any adornments ever rival its own.

As though the gardens' hands had bestowed

Upon it robes of their blossoms' brocade.

May joy remain unbroken within it,

With life's fullest ease, fulfilling hope.

And may its inhabitant endure throughout all time,

    Embracing his kin forever.

The meaning of Christ's radiance is fulfilled—record the date

With this, for a dwelling perfected by its beauty.
