مولىًa lord قضىpassed away باللَهin God ممتلئاًfilled بهِthrough Him
مولىً قضى باللَه ممتلئاً بهِ
خيراًgoodness واياماًand days بكلwith all محاسنِvirtues
خيراً واياماً بكل محاسنِ
A lord who passed away in God, filled through Him
With goodness, and with days rich in every virtue.
لوif قيلَit were said ماwhat هذاthis وماand what تريخهُits date
لو قيلَ ما هذا وما تريخهُ
فالبطريكthen the patriarch الشهمُthe noble-hearted يوسفYusuf خازنِKhazin
فالبطريك الشهمُ يوسف خازنِ
Were it asked, “What is this, and what is its date?”
